Behind the Scenes

Although performing is such a beloved part of Katie’s life, they have so many other passions. Feel free to scroll through the gallery below to learn more about who this bubbly and radiant person is!

“Roller skating is such a huge source of joy for me. As a child, I would often go skating at my local rink. As an adult, I love skating on the boardwalk and zooming up and down my neighborhood. I absolutely love going out and racing down the streets, rocking out to 80’s pop!”

“I’m here, I’m queer, get used to it! As a queer faith based person, I am a huge advocate for LBGTQIA+ inclusion within religious communities. Being queer, non-binary, and a practicing person of faith, has been quite the journey, to say the least. Over the years, I’ve learned that being the most authentic version of myself and being steadfast in my beliefs can go hand in hand. I am so proud to be living my truth every day and I hope I can inspire others to do the same!”

“I am so lucky to have the title of Big Sibling to my two little brothers. My wonderful brothers are both autistic. They are clever, kind, funny, mischievous, and are both the most fantastic kiddos. My heart goes out to the autism community as well as the special needs community. I do my best to spread awareness and promote acceptance within the theater community and beyond for all persons on the spectrum.”

“On my 14th birthday, I received the surprise of my life, my very own unicycle! We’ve been inseparable ever since. Wherever I go my unicycle comes with me in the trunk of my car. I’d say the most interesting place I’ve been able to ride would be Crawford, NE. ”

“My adoration and absolute joy towards working with children and performing TYA is truly unmatched. My heart is filled to the brim with adoration for young audiences and artists. There is seldom I love more in this industry than working with children. Their light, energy, and unrequited joy and curiosity drive my love for being an artist.”

“I am an avid grief warrior and advocate. Experiencing great loss in my personal life pushes me forward in all aspects of my career and artistry. I strive to keep the conversation about and expression of grief open and welcome to everyone who’s experienced it. I am a survivor and I am so proud to share the story of the people I've loved and live for now.”

“I’m what you might call Christmas crazy. Christmas is my absolute most favorite time of year. I love it so much that I have a countdown going all year round to Christmas day. In December, I only wear Christmas-themed outfits and apparel. The only other holiday that I love just as much is Christmas in July!”
